| Immigration Law Compliance |
ARC Broward complies with the Immigration Reform
and Control Act of 1986 and will employ only United States citizens and aliens
who are authorized to work in the United States. As a condition of employment,
individuals must supply acceptable identification (as described on the I-9
form) and properly complete the first section of the Immigration and
Naturalization Service Form I-9 within three business days of the date employment
begins. |
| Drug Free Workplace |
ARC Broward has elected to join thousands of
other companies by choosing to be a Drug-Free Workplace in compliance with
the current Rules of the State of Florida for Workers Compensation
Drug Testing. Employees of Drug-Free Workplaces and the individuals served
benefit by a safer, healthier and more productive work environment. Employee
drug tests are administered at the time of hire, post-incident and in cases
of reasonable suspicion. |
| Background Screening: Section 435.04,
Florida Statutes Level II Screening Standards |
All employees are required to complete a Level
II Background Screening as a condition of employment prior to joining the
agency, in accordance with applicable law. This security background screening
requires fingerprinting for all purposes and checks including a local, statewide
criminal and juvenile records check (FDLE) and federal (FBI) background
screening, in addition to signing an Affidavit of Good Moral Character. |
