Division
The ARC Broward Workforce Division includes programs
and two mission based enterprises that are designed to provide employment
training and opportunities for individuals who have various disabilities
or other life challenges and include the following:

Employment
Services
ARC Broward provides technical assistance and
education to interested employers and provides consumers job readiness skills,
job development, job placement, job coaching and follow along services to
ensure their success on the job. ARC Broward's Employment Services are accredited
by CARF the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. |

Youth
Links
Youth Links is a part time, after school Transition
Program for Broward County students (16 to 21 years old) who want to improve
their employability skills and get paid for an internship. Youth Links operates
180 after school days in accordance with Broward County School Calendar.
The Youth Links program is funded primarily by the Childrens Services
Council (CSC) of Broward County. Students learn to explore career and employment
options as well as leadership roles and adult life training. |

Mission-Based Enterprises
ARC Broward Workforce Development Division manages
two mission-based enterprises which operate in conjunction with other programs
and services at ARC Broward to provide vocational training and employment
opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and other
challenges. |
