In order to physically destroy data, the device is put through an Ameri-Shred AMS-2000 Hard Drive Shredder, which is capable of shredding computer hard disks, copier hard drives, laptop and notepad computers, reel-to-reel tapes, cell phones, circuit boards and other assorted e-waste.
Notably, it is able to shred solid state drives, which many standard industrial shredders cannot do effectively as they are only able to shred to a 1’’ particle size allowing memory chips to slip through intact. Once shredded, it becomes impossible for any data to be recovered from the device ensuring your company’s security.
