ARC BROWARD ANNOUNCES CEO RETIREMENT PLAN

Sunrise, Fla (Jan. 7, 2022) – Arc Broward President/CEO Dennis Haas, has announced his plans to retire at the end of 2022 after 25 years at the helm of one of the most respected and innovative non-profit organizations in the State.  

Julie Price will succeed Haas as the agency’s next President/CEO. Price began working at the agency while in college and became its Chief Operating Officer 25 years ago. 

Under Haas’ leadership Arc Broward has grown from an annual budget of $1.5 Million to $20 Million with 350 employees and 9 locations and a continuum of 21 programs. The agency has become a leader in developing self-sustaining programs through social enterprise business models such as Arc Culinary and Arc Educates.

Haas will continue to lead the organization during the next 12 months and will work closely with the leadership team and Board of Directors to ensure a smooth transition.
