Focused Audience:  All in-service trainings are open to Waiver Support Coordinators, Companions, Personal Supports, Residential Habilitation, Supported Employment Coaches, Adult Day, and Behavior Assistants.

Course Description

You will explore ways to build self-confidence and promote empowering relationships.

Class Objectives

1. Discuss the meaning of empowerment and the importance of empowering relationships

2. Discuss how to build self-confidence and reverse learned helplessness.

3. Demonstrate how to change negative self-talk into positive self-talk.
