Goodman Public Relations Owner/Founder Michael Goodman Joins ARC Broward Board of Directors

ARC Broward, a not-for-profit human services organization dedicated to providing services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and other life challenges, announced the appointment of public relations veteran and community advocate Michael Goodman to its board of directors. Goodman is the owner and founder of Goodman Public Relations/GPR, a full-service, Fort Lauderdale based public relations company with an impressive local and national client roster.  “Michael is an incredibly talented expert in his field who will lend his creativity to our marketing and public relations initiatives,” said ARC Broward President/CEO Dennis Haas. “We look forward to benefiting from Michael’s insight and experience and are extremely grateful for his volunteerism and commitment to our mission.”  With Goodman’s extensive 30-year marketing background, which includes his expertise in special event planning and not-for-profit fund development, he will add a unique perspective to ARC Broward’s diverse board of directors. Michael’s addition to ARC Broward’s board of directors increases its number of members to 13. Goodman has served on numerous nonprofit boards and community initiatives over the past two decades. He was recognized by Leadership Broward Foundation with the 2013 Leader of the Year Award, South Florida Business Journal’s Up & Comers Award and ArtServe’s Encore Awards.
