The Academy of Arts & Recreation brings together teens and young adults in a supportive, engaging environment where they can explore their interests, build meaningful skills, and grow in confidence and independence.

How It Works
The Academy of Arts & Recreation serves individuals ages 16–26 through a person-centered approach. While participants may be in different stages of life, everyone engages in the same enriching experiences—with individualized goals and supports tailored to their needs, interests, and future plans.
Who It’s For
- Ages 16–21: Students receiving transition support services
- Ages 22–26: Young adults continuing to build independence and workforce skills after transition

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Oakland Park Campus
Eligibility:
- Ages 16–21: Step Up for Students / FES-UA
- Ages 22–26: Medicaid Waiver or Florida Community Care/ICM
