Arc Broward Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

Arc Broward Earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

(March 2022) – Arc Broward recently received the highest level of accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International after an extensive survey process. The Three-Year Accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation awarded to an organization and demonstrates its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality. Arc Broward programs have been awarded consecutive accreditations from CARF for over 30 years.

CARF Accreditation is a continuous quality improvement process where peers apply internationally recognized standards through a consultative process. It addresses stakeholder needs for accountability in outcomes for services, fiscal health and satisfaction with services and the organization. Surveyors noted the organization’s transparency, extraordinary leadership, financial solvency, and high performance of  programs.

While 13 programs were reviewed and accredited, Arc Broward demonstrated exemplary conformance in implementing its Direct Support Professional Advancement through training and education in the Human Services (DSPATHS) Certificate Program that promotes career laddering through education for its team members. Employees who have completed the program speak highly about what they have learned and been able to implement on the job, stating that they are more confident in their knowledge, skills, and ability to support persons served and impact their quality of life

“It is with a great level of dedication and care that our team is able to achieve such a high standard of recognition. We are extremely proud of this accomplishment. ” said Arc Broward President & CEO Dennis Haas.
