Arc Culinary, a local south Florida caterer and social enterprise of Arc Broward, has partnered with Mac Edwards Produce to provide food to the community during this time of need.
They will be hosting a drive-thru food distribution event on Saturday, March 20th at 8am. The pickup event will take place in the parking lot of Arc Culinary’s new state-of-the-art Andrew P. Barowsky Culinary Arts Center at 10250 NW 53rd Street located in Sunrise, Florida. This drive-thru event will be contactless as boxes will be placed in the trunks or backseats of cars. COVID19 safety protocols will be followed. Boxes will be available to the first 500 participants on a first come first serve basis and include items such as milk, potatoes, cheese, fruits and vegetables.
“This event is in response to meeting an immediate need for those experiencing food insecurity. The community has been so generous to us during these trying times. We are grateful to be able to give back and provide food to those in need.” Says Arc Broward President and CEO, Dennis Haas.
