As an afterschool counselor, you will help amazing people with children and young adults (3 – 22 years) live their best lives. You’ll get the chance to help them with fun activities like arts and crafts, social and recreation, daily living skills, music, health and wellness … you name it! During the summer you’ll take the kids to fun places like swimming at the pool, the zoo, the movies … you name it! And you’ll never be bored because every day is different and exciting!

Requirements
- You’re at least 18 years of age.
- You’re a positive and supportive person.
- You’re someone who enjoys working and communicating with others.
- You have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
- You have a valid Florida driver’s license.
- You’re able to pass a criminal background check.
- Obtain the 40-hour childcare training that is mandated by the state of Florida. All counselors must begin this training within 90 days from the date of employment and complete all 40 hours within one year from the date they are hired.
