What is ABA?
ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis – it’s the science of understanding and
ABA focuses on how behavior works, how it’s affected by the environment, and how learning happens. Practitioners use these principles to teach new skills, encourage positive behaviors, and reduce challenging ones in settings like homes, schools, and clinics.
Who Can get an ABA Certificate?
Anyone 18+ with an interest in human behavior, education, or therapy — and a desire to make a difference — can begin ABA training. It’s ideal for teachers, direct support professionals, caregivers, and those pursuing careers in behavior analysis.
How to Begin Your ABA Journey:
Start by completing the 20-hour ABA training course, which introduces the foundations of applied behavior analysis. From there, you can:

Gain supervised experience under a certified behavior analyst.

Apply ABA techniques in real-world settings.

Continue your education toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

- After completing this 20-hour course, participants can continue for three additional Saturdays to complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training—a seamless next step to deepen your skills. (Continuation applies only within the same cohort and is not transferable.)
