Join our 20-hour, three-Saturday workshop to gain practical tools and strategies for behavior management and skill development. This course meets APD’s requirements for Behavior Assistants and is taught by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with clinical and training experience.
The focus of this instruction will be identifying how behaviors emerge and which behaviors require responding; learn behavioral tools and strategies to prevent problem behaviors; implementing techniques that promote the acquisition of adaptive skills with both individuals and groups; understanding the behavior assistant’s role in ABA services as a paraprofessional; the importance of the most recent evidence‐based interventions and technologies; and the importance of pairing with reinforcers. A small class instructor to participant ratio will allow participants to receive individualized attention and ongoing feedback.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
No refunds for cancellations or missed sessions.
- To earn a certificate, you must attend all three Saturdays, participate actively, and arrive on time. Instructors cannot issue certificates for incomplete participation.
